Shining Star Child Development (Grand Crossing) is a NAEYC accredited, State of the Illinois Gold Rated, child care facility offering high quality early learning and family support services to children and their families. We provide care to children from birth to five.
We are located in the heart of Grand Crossing and consider it as an honor to positively impact the lives of the children and families in this historically socially oppressed community. We believe that we have been strategically selected by fate to be in this community to answer the call of the need for quality in Grand Crossing.

Andrea Johnson is the site director of Shining Star Child Development 2 (Chatham). Andrea has over five years of experience of working with children and their families. Her field of studies is concentrated in Early Childhood Education/Child Development..
Ms. Johnson wants to ensure every child and family has the tools necessary to achieve greatness.
